Q. What is Goldberg Design Groups' (GDG) primary focus?
A. GDG is focused on high-end residential projects. We design homes at any price-point, and in any style; but the larger, highly styled homes have been where GDG has made it's mark.
Q. What makes GDG Design different from other firms?
A. Unlike many home designers who relegate their practice to one "style" or "mode" of architecture, GDG does not require their clients to mold to our desires, but instead designs each home in a style and context that is suitable for the owner and the projects locale. Extensive training in all historical home styles, both in the classroom and in professional practice is evident in all of our homes.
Q. What services do you offer?
A. GDG offers complete design and planning services from site selection and study, preliminary schematic design, design implementation, and full construction documentation. We also offer site observation and consultation during the construction process as well as interior design services. All services can be chosen A la carte to suit the owner's needs. Call or email for pricing structures.
Q. What is included in the pre-drawn plans?
A. The plan sets contain: all four (or more) exterior views; floor plan for each floor as applicable to the design; roof plan and section page; electrical plans per each floor (most plans); other interior cross-sections and details on a case by case basis. We do not include material take-offs or costing.
Q. How many plan sets do we receive?
A. In most cases, we will send the client the .PDF files of the plans and our licensing agreement will allow the customer to make as many plan copies as necessary to complete the design, bidding, and building process.
